As an architect with a passion for historic architecture and coastal landscapes, staying at B&B Plitvice Lakes Villa Mija was a delightful experience. The look of the house, built like a traditional home with modern comforts, was charming. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed where we could gaze at the stars through the window in the quiet area. The air-conditioned room was well-equipped with a desk, fridge, and flat-screen TV.The location of Villa Mija was perfect for exploring Plitvice Lakes, with easy access to hiking and cycling activities. We enjoyed the serene garden and terrace, as well as the delicious continental breakfast served each morning. The host, a friendly and helpful lady, made our stay even more delightful with her recommendations for visiting the park.After a day of adventure in the park, we returned to Villa Mija for a relaxing evening. The dinner of trout with fries and chicken with gnocchi was a gastronomic delight. The open-air terrace provided a beautiful setting for our meals, served with warmth and friendliness.The peaceful surroundings and comfortable amenities at Villa Mija created a memorable stay before our exploration of Plitvice National Park. The personalized attention from the owner, paired with the modern facilities, made it a gem worth returning to. I highly recommend this B&B for those seeking a blend of nature, history, and warm hospitality in Croatia.
